Michael Kors

I got a beautiful Michael Kors necklace for my 21st from my dad. I love it so much, the fact that it is such a simple design it will never go out of style. Definitely a handy one to have to make a casual outfit that little bit more dressy but it also goes well with comfy casuals.

I told my dad I don't like spending large amounts of money on one piece of jewellery when I know I could get a few pieces of  good quality jewellery for that price. So he brought me into Fields jewellers and I picked out this piece, I just thought it was a gorgeous timeless piece that I will always be able to wear.

Clairol's Root Touch-up Review!

Hello again! So I've been putting off spending €150 to get my hair done, but was in need of a root touch up as my natural hair colour is brown. So I decided to look at the root touch home dyes. I  was  nervous though because I've home dyed my hair when I was younger so many times. It always turned out well when I was dying it darker tones like browns and reds, but when I home dyed it blonde to top up the professional dyed blonde it came out horribly wrong and it could happen again!!

So I picked up a Clairol's root touch up, shade medium blonde. My roots where dark brown and I had a blonde balayage situation going on to begin with. Before applying any hair dye I watched 3 to 4 videos on YouTube of how to blend the hair dye on your roots with the rest of your hair. I had a fair idea of how to do it from watching the hairdressers when I go to the salon but I found this helpful Anyways I followed the simple directions on the box, applied the dye to my roots left it for what felt like the longest 10 minutes ever! After washing and blow drying it, This was the result! I'm delighted with it. I basically achieved my topped up balayage look and only spent €10 to do so. I don't think the picture does it justice but trust me it's really well blended and the top colour is a lot lighter in person, It was a dull day so my camera to pick up the colour properly.

Obviously this is just how my hair turned out and took to the colour , everyone's hair is different and I  will always recommend going to a professional salon to get a colour done over a home dye if you can afford it. I've got fast hair growth and it's very expensive to be going to the hair dressers every 4/5 weeks so I will definitely be using this again in between salon visits. :)

Stationary Heaven

When I wandered into Tesco's today before work I had no intentions of buying anything but I ended up in the stationary isle and found such lovely bits for college. I got a few notebooks, a journal and a cute bits and bobs box. They were such a reasonable price so I couldn't not get them.

Tomorrow I'm going to Pennys. Yes its official I will be broke after tomorrow lol

France to Portugal to Spain

Okay so I thought I'd tell you all a bit more about what exactly I was doing whilst abroad. So I got the opportunity through college to go on an Erasmus work placement in Grenoble France to work in a retail store for three weeks. So five of the girls in my course and myself jetted off the last week in march and had an absolute ball. We did some French lessons before we went, luckily I studied French in school so I had the basics already. We did loads of site seeing, zip lining, loads. We really had so much fun and I cant wait to go back to college in September and see them!

The next trip I went on was with my mam. We went to Portugal for a week for a nice relaxing holiday. It  was my 21st and my mams birthday is a week after mine so we decided to threat ourselves. I fell in love with the place, we went on a cruise along the coast.  We also passed a nude beach lol. The old town in Albufeira has everything from great food , nightlife and clothes shops were open until 4 am! It was my first time in Portugal and it definitely wont be my last. Three of my friends are living over at the moment so I'm planning a visit soon. If this water doesn't make you want to go there. I don't know what will !

The next adventure I went on was with one of my friends. I'm only home two days now and miss the place so much already. So we went to Lanzarote for two weeks. We  went for the two weeks as we wanted to see loads and do as many activities as we could yet still get a few beach days in. I love anything that involves the sea. We did a cruise day, a kayak day, jet ski's, snorkelling and went to all the beautiful sites such as Cueva de los verdes and The Timanfaya National Park. Of course we went out at night time so we got to dress up.

A little bit about me..

So Yeah that's me. I'm 21, Irish. I was born and raised in  Dublin, We then moved to the midlands when I was a 12 and I'm currently living in the beautiful Galway, beside the beach which I love.

So enough about the boring stuff. I love to travel and was lucky to get to spend 3 weeks in France, a week in Portugal and two weeks in Lanzarote this year. I love all outdoors activities, I'm a true tomboy at heart but I love everything girly too, make-up, fashion , the whole shabang.  I'm currently studying fashion which I love. I'll be putting loads of bit up about what I do in my course, different photo shoots and styling I've done and loads more!! I'm a dancer and have danced my whole life. Trained in, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, jazz, Irish dancing etc. I still have yet to try salsa (not the food) lol . I've been to Los Angeles for competitions, it was so amazing and  so clean over there lol ! I'm going for a wander in town later, I'll let you know what I get up to.
